Another major student lending company has signed on with Attorney General Andrew Cuomo's proposed code of conduct.
Wells Fargo is following suit with four other leading student loan providers -- Citibank, Sallie Mae, JP Morgan and Bank of America.
Cuomo came up with the code of conduct after his investigation into the student loan industry revealed many lenders were providing kickbacks and other incentives to loan officers at schools.Labels: financial aid, free education, scholarship, student loans, study abroad |
