Newly elected French President Nicolas Sarkozy has issued orders to make collegiate education free of cost at Lycee Francais, an educational institution run by the Government of France here.
Students would be offered scholarship too at the institution, Vazhumuny Sankar and Ramachandran Thirou, both elected from here as members of the Paris-based Assembly of French Nationals Residing Abroad, told reporters yesterday.
The free education facility would come into effect soon in the institution in Puducherry, a former French colony, which still has several citizens of France.
The higher secondary course in the institution would also be available to Indian Citizens although it is a French medium institution.Labels: academy awards, education online, financial aid, free college, free education, high school, scholarship, student loans, study abroad |
