| publisher A - wanted to re-launch an existing successful primary product to bring it in line with teachers’ expectations and needs. Schoolzone set up a field trial with 40 schools. We briefed the schools, constructed an online questionnaire, analysed the results, followed up with two further classroom trials of the product and reported back to the client.

| company B - wanted to hold six focus groups with teachers at different levels of experience in two subject areas. Schoolzone was quickly able to organize focus group participants. The results changed the publisher’s perception of the products they intended to develop and they adapted their planning accordingly.

| publisher C - wanted to launch a digital version of a currently successful paper based product. Within three months of being briefed, Schoolzone was able to undertake all the re-writing and design activity and construct and launch the electronic version of the product.

| publisher D - wanted to test a beta version of an updated product within a very tight timescale. Schoolzone identified six schools that had experience of the current product and completed the successful trial of the beta version in these schools within two weeks.

| organisation E - wanted to conduct a culture probe into teachers’ experiences of lesson planning. Schoolzone contacted 100 teachers and collected their feedback on the issues raised within two weeks.

| publisher F - had a board meeting on Monday to discuss a major product they planned to commission. They wanted teacher feedback to support their proposal. We emailed our users on the previous Friday and had 60 responses by Monday morning. The project went ahead but with significant changes in emphasis.
